Backend Developer
As a Back End Developer at C80, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of the server-side components that power our cutting-edge technology solutions. Collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for building robust and scalable back-end systems that drive innovation and ensure the success of our clients.
Position Overview:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases.
- Collaborate effectively with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize back-end applications for performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure the security and data protection of our applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues to enhance overall application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging back-end technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a Back End Developer role or similar position.
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or Node.js.
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with front-end teams.
- Knowledge of web server technologies and protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Relevant certifications or additional training in back-end development.
